Lotus Lantern Making Event for Foreign Participants
“Feel and experience 1,200 year old traditional Korean culture”
“Please acknowledge your Buddhahood by lighting a ‘Lotus Lantern’ in your mind”
The lantern symbolizes the brightening of our mind and the Lotus Lantern Making itself is a prayer for our own happiness as well as the happiness of others.
The experience of Lotus Lantern Making is a wonderful moment to reflect about your own sincere wishes and also a chance to carry your own lantern in the mini parade around Insa-Dong.
As a part of the “Lotus Lantern Festival” that provides the opportunity to experience a wide variety of traditional cultures of Korea, the International Dharma Instructors Association invites you to the “Lotus Lantern Making Event for Foreigners”.
